As hardly any information about the Kauhajoki shooting was published, the users of internet chat sites already were guessing who the shooter was.

For example, on the MuroBBS and the Murha.info sites the Wumpscut86 username was quickly referred to, which revealed the shooter’s Youtube profile. On this profile it was mentioned that his hometown is Kauhajoki and his age 22 year.

The profile was called Mr. Saari.
Soon after this the sites got a link which led to a package called Massacre in Kauhajoki, which the shooter apparently sent to the internet. There are many videos, on which the man shoots with a handgun, and pictures where he poses with his gun. The authorities confirmed on Tuesday at 15:30 that the shooting suspect is 22-year-old Matti Juhani Saari.
The Youtube account of Wumpscut was closed at around 13:00 and the Irc-gallary already before that.
